Before we paint the ceiling with our Wagner airless sprayer, we use a bit of SikaFlex elastic joint sealant based on polyurethane to fill the gap around the cabinets in the kitchen. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, Is way more flexible and stronger than regular acrylic gap filler/sealant. Once dry we sprayed and back rolled the ceilings & kitchen bulkheads.
